Not Condemned but Free!

We are not condemned, but free!

(KJV)Romans 8:1- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

(TPT)Romans 8:1- So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.

What is condemnation? Condemnation-the expression of very strong disapproval; censure:

the action of condemning someone to a punishment; sentencing.

Romans 8:2- For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death.

We are no longer condemned to the law of sin and death but we are, through Jesus Christ, liberated to walk in life through God!

So let’s not continue to allow ourselves to live in condemnation to the law of sin and death but let’s live in the liberty that God has given us, no matter our circumstances.

It is our hearts that condemn us when we make mistakes, not Christ! Through Christ there is forgiveness of sins. Through His mercy and grace we can continue to walk out our journey of faith in Him. We must remain confident in the truth that Gods love is unconditional and that with that love comes the power to bring transformation to our lives. Allow His love and His word to transform us everyday as we seek Him.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.” (Rom 12:1-2)
